If I could rate 0 stars I would. Upon arrival we were told there would be a 25 minute wait on food which we accepted. The gent in front of us mentioned to the woman at the till that there were no free seats and said he would sit outside. Looking around, indeed there weren't any available tables inside so we placed our order and sat on one of a handful of outdoor tables at the café.

Around 40 minutes later and still no food or drink, I went back to the till to ask what had happened, only to find the café 1/3rd empty, with brand new customers walking in and being served promptly. The server at the till said "we were looking for you, where have you been?"

We sat down at a now available table and then the 'chef' came out from the kitchen to tell us;

"I'm not making it again, I called yous and yous weren't here."

After a long back and forth about the café seating policy, lack of communication, and repeatedly telling her that we had paid £25 for fresh air, she threw up her hands and stormed off into the kitchen.

10 minutes later, we were presented with a tray of food and drinks which was almost what we ordered.

My cheese and onion toastie had magically become cheese and ham. My partner's chicken sandwich looked like it came straight from the bin. And they BOTH had long, curly black hairs in them.

For some strange reason, we were also given an extra latte.

Terrible service, terrible staff attitude, avoid...

Was lucky to come here for the second time on a scorching hot day. Loads of parking - we’d spent hours at the 3 lochs drive before coming here and still managed to find a space. The ladies who were working in the visitor centre were so friendly and knowledgeable. We’d asked them for a map so we could see the 4 walking paths and decide which one(s) we were going to do. We were given a map and ended up doing 2 of the trails. The ladies were then answering random questions my 8yo had about the area and such and then they spent 5 mins teaching him about contour lines on a map and comparing it to the 4D model of the hills they had in the centre. The 2 trails we did were just lovely. We followed the white trail first which is suitable for families and wheelchairs. This takes you down to a waterfall. There are hammocks, little hobbit houses, bug houses and a little water feature the kids can play in if there’s been rain. Cafe is as you’d expect with food and prices. We brought our own packed lunch and sat on the grass near the centre to eat.

Keep a look out for the mirrored silhouettes in the forest (white coloured trail), these are cool and a...

This is a trail centre for walkers and school groups. It costs £5 per day for parking (which for this area is extremely expensive given that most parking is free) but the parking machines do not work. The sign on the broken parking machine tells you to pay through Ringgo, but that charged me £5.40 per day i.e. 8% more than the actual parking cost.

There is a visitor centre with loos and a cafe. If you want to sit inside then you are not allowed to consume any food or drink not bought in the cafe, even though the cafe has an extremely poor selection that does not accommodate any dietary restrictions (e.g. halal, kosher or vegan).

If you try using the walking or cycling trails you will soon discover that the footbridge bridge needed to access many of the paths is closed -- and indeed has been closed for many months. You need to follow an unmarked diversion up past a children's play area.

God forbid that you have functional parking payment machines or bother fixing the bridge in exchange for charging people more than...

Been here the past few years in a row for high quality, affordable, real Christmas trees. Their staff are very lovely and friendly, their trees are excellently priced and come in great condition - you choose which you would like from 4ft to 8ft. £20 to £50 respectively. Go-ape also on site. And lots of wonderful nature walks from 30 mins wheelchair accessible walks down past a lovely waterfall to over 3 hour non-wheelchair accessable trails. The forestry also often runs fundraisers here - I won a big candy cane one year for guessing the sweets in the jar. It's worth checking online to see when the next event is on for more to do there. I would highly recommend for a family day trip or at Christmas time for real trees.

Had an enjoyable trip and were very lucky to see a female osprey on her egg from a viewing hide. We felt blessed as we called on a day where Caz was on hand and learned that she had 20 years of studying Osprey’s and was very knowledgeable as we bombarded her with questions. Also, looked for Red Squirrels but no luck. We took a walk along the pathway through the woodland into town. Had a lovely walk around the beautiful town of Dunkeld, along the river tay, then around the cathedral with amazing trees down to the river. We stopped for lunch and then made our way back to our car along the same well signed pathway. (There are steep hills at places so put on your walking boots) 😀
