Wildcat Centre — Attraction in Scotland

This is where the journey of discovery starts. Very friendly staff on hand to explain the Wildcat search adventure. The office is small but at the same time big enough. They have different items on sale related to the Wildcats (sticker, caps fridge magnets and other trinkets). After finding 111 out of 132+ wildcats the kids were awarded a certificate with a gold sticker and couldn't be happier. We spent a fun day out as a family taking part in the wildcat experience. We managed to find 38 of the Wildcats and our 7 year old daughter enjoyed five ding them in the booklet and marking them on the map. We also did the Banks of the Spey part of the wildcat trail, after stopping for a picnic lunch at the Jack Richmond memorial woodland park near the railway station. My kids enjoyed the “finding wildcats” (should be called the wildcat experience)! There are 200+ “wildcats” in the area. You can buy a booklet from the visitor center and try to find them all! We managed to find 20+ only, but will definitely do it again next time 😻 the visitor center is just 15 mins walk from the Highland Folk Museum, and you can find free parking...
