Well worth the visit, we were on holiday from mid Wales and we couldn't believe the gardens, playpark, waterfall and museum. Really lovely walks, nice little cafe on site and the playpark is amazing!! Our son loved it (it's great for big kids too) The museum was incredible especially if you are a fan of motorcycle racing, bit that's not all that's there lots of world war items, historic house hold and school items and to top it off an amazing art gallery. Family friendly with activities for kids too! Of we visit the area again we will definitely pop in for another visit....

The new park is amazing and such an improvement from the old. It will be even better when the new café opens now the new Bridge has. Not only that but the sports facilities and scenery, the walks by the river and up by the waterfall make it unlike any other and there is the museum aswell which is full of hawick's famous textile history and interesting facts and news not to mention the Hislop section and the Guthrie section, both well known world famous bikers from the town and...

Hawick people are justly proud of this lovely park. The museum is fascinating and the park itself is beautifully maintained with lovely statues and war memorial, waterfall and very dog friendly. In the town there is also a lovely museum of the textile industry. Masses of bins, free toilets which are kept very clean, and free parking, even for campervans overnight. Hence vanners stock up on essentials from the shops whilst there, thereby supporting the shops....

The most favorite place of mine in hawick, its just so beautiful, the longer you walk the more you will see, its cycle friendly, pet friendly and pretty much everything is wheelchair accessible, has a lovely children's park which is great for active kids as so Much to do, I would really recommend for everyone to go and experience it for your self you can also go to the cafe the play park and the museum that is within the park!

One of the best public parks we have visited. There are riverside walks, a bandstand, museum, childrens play ground toilets and a cafe/ pavilion. The museum is of special interest for the Jimmie Guthrie and Steve Hislop memorabilia rooms. Everywhere the park is well tended tided and cared for. There is ample free parking too. It is a eeal asset to the town and well worth stopping for if passing through.

Beautiful park with everything. Kept in immaculate condition and a credit to the local community. Very friendly people. There is so much to see and do. We drive here and stay in our motorhome nearby with the fantastic aire provided by the local council. We always leave zero mess and contribute to the local economy. Many other towns could learn a lot from lovely Hawick. Can't wait to return. Well done!
