Well worth the visit, we were on holiday from mid Wales and we couldn't believe the gardens, playpark, waterfall and museum. Really lovely walks, nice little cafe on site and the playpark is amazing!! Our son loved it (it's great for big kids too) The museum was incredible especially if you are a fan of motorcycle racing, bit that's not all that's there lots of world war items, historic house hold and school items and to top it off an amazing art gallery. Family friendly with activities for kids too! Of we visit the area again we will definitely pop in for another visit....

Not only that but the sports facilities and scenery, the walks by the river and up by the waterfall make it unlike any other and there is the museum aswell which is full of hawick's famous textile history and interesting facts and news not to mention the Hislop section and the Guthrie section, both well known world famous bikers from the town and...

The museum is fascinating and the park itself is beautifully maintained with lovely statues and war memorial, waterfall and very dog friendly. In the town there is also a lovely museum of the textile industry. Masses of bins, free toilets which are kept very clean, and free parking, even for campervans overnight. Hence vanners stock up on essentials from the shops whilst there, thereby supporting the shops....
