We had invited some of my daughter's classmates to go with us so they could play together as we are moving houses and thought it would be nice for the children to play together one last time before we leave. We have been here a few times before and although the children have enjoyed themselves in the past we have always found for the adults things to be little average. This time the children again enjoyed themselves but the food and drinks that were served were awful. It took ages for the food to be brought and some of the party couldn't eat as it took so long that even though it was ordered at 4:30 it still hadn't arrived to their table by 6pm, when a refund was given. Another parent was charged for something he hadn't purchased by the staff and when they went to get their money back or look for the manager ( who hid in the kitchen ) he was accused of being aggressive and told that the police would be called. I don't think I have seen such terrible service from staff anywhere. Then as we leave I watch and hear the manager standing there talking to the other staff about the complaint and making it far worse than it was. I wasn't even the person that complained or asked for a refund but the whole evening was quite frankly ridiculous and not cheap as I alone spent over £30 for entrance and food for us and we took over 20 people with us. When we entered there was just a small party in for a 1 year old so we at least double the number of people in there. A lot of us will never go again and I would advise going to one of the other soft play centres...
Read moreA disappointment. I paid for a taxi here and back for my son to try it out which cost £15 in total. Then £5.50 it cost to get in and my receipt said 15 minutes of play, we queried this and they said it was ok to stay longer ( should think so ). I rang up before i left to see what time it was open until but was not told about a party being on. The main attraction is the huge slide but there's not much going on in the background, other play areas are better such as crazy town and play away. It's very painful walking up the rope ladders to get to the big slide and my son kept complaining his feet were sore and so did some other kids. Looked great on the internet but was a disappointment in person. Very clean though and nicely laid out, there's plenty of room for parents to sit down. I won't be going again. There was no control over the party kids and it got so manic that my son asked to go home which is unlike him, normally i am dragging him out of these places kicking and screaming but he was relieved to get outside. A shame, it could be great. Also the woman on reception was more interested in the customer on the phone rather then the ones stood right in front of her, despite us spelling out our surname she still typed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery poor hygiene practices, signs on each table advisising to turn one way once table is sanitiser although these are strewn everywhere an whilst sitting for my daughters play session I observed that the sanitisation wasn't being undertaken over capacity and whilst it was shouted over the tanoy for people whose session had expired to leave although in reality I observed from the people next to us this wasnt happening, not adhereing to government guidelines, and I feel it is putting people at risk as the venue ends up full to capacity and it then breaching the social distancing and recommended allowance, overall been coming for yeras and the place is tired and needs a desperate freshen up, and one last point as amusing as it sounds its a fcat the slides are not slippy, they need recoating lots of adults and kids commenting on this as the slide is big attraction in the centre an nobody slides down it anymore merely pushes themselves down , needs...
