BRILLIANT FOOD. As a random stop for food we didn't know what to expect however the food was DELICIOUS. You must try the himalayian food here. We ordered a couple starters & a pasta dish main. Momo buns were bursting with flavour. Paneer shaslik, SO GOOD, like a cheesy/tofu flavour but with amazing spices, loved the yogurt dip too. Chicken and bacon carbonara was a great hit for my partner, they loved the himalayian twist on a classic dish. Staff were friendly, food came quick, good portions, reasonable pricing. Definitely will come again soon, thank you.

Going here twice in one week says it all Went there for lunch, it was a great experience i went for dinner also the same week. Great food. Staff is brilliant, the land lady is all over the pub making sure everyone is happy. Even on Wednesday this place attracts punter's. The Himalayan food is good, I am not normally a fan of this kind of food other than home cooking but for me and my family its highly recommended as we don't eat in pubs much, but we are returning. Price is also reasonable great great experience.

I do a lot of Google reviews because I think it's important for the businesses and for the customer. I've seen a few reviews for the White Harte since the new owners have been there. Lots of positive reviews for the Himalayan food. I have to agree with them. The food was excellent, the service was excellent. There was a lovely atmosphere in the pub. I would strongly recommend you to try them out. You won't be disappointed at all.

Lovely food but our evening was severely ruined by the staff. We were informed that we would have the table for two hours which was fine - you’d think 2 hours would be ample time for a meal?! Orders were taken 30 minutes after seating including mains. 70 minutes in and we are told that we need to hurry up by a member of staff as they needed the table at 8pm… we hadn’t even been given our main meals yet. A second member of staff then came over to confront our table about hurrying up to which we were very upset as it wasn’t our fault that the service was slow and the approach was incredibly rude. Meals were great but again, it took so long to clear the table that we weren’t offered dessert even though we had time. After rushing us to eat our mains they then didn’t take payment until after 8pm so it seems that we were rushed for absolutely no reason.

Really disappointed as the food was really nice. Won’t be returning unless staff choose a better attitude. Arguing with your customers doesn’t sit well with wanting people to return - I think this should be taken into consideration...

I stopped in this pub a few weeks back for a quick drink with a friend. I parked my van right outside of the front entrance of the pub. I was only in there for about an hour but in that time someone had broken into my van and stolen my work tools about a month before Christmas. I was parked right in front of the CCTV at the entrance to the pub. I went to the pub the next day to ask if someone could look at the footage and pass it to the police if it had caught anything. The manager wasn’t working at the time and I was told the he would ring me about footage. No one rang me. I have rang the pub weekly since but I have finally given up. They keep on giving different excuses and keep telling me the manager will ring me and he never does. This has been going on for about a month now. They are not interested in looking at the footage or trying to the help me or the police at all. I have found them very unhelpful and quite...

After having some lovely evenings out here. We decided to try food here for Mother’s Day. Booked table in advance no issues. On the day got there to be told they only booked for 5 when there was 7 of us luckily a group by us were leaving so we had their table. Seen the set menu which was just a roast with a choice of different meats. Pork, beef, chicken and no nut roast, we were then told there was no chicken. My 3 kids then weren’t interested as they won’t eat beef or pork. The lady serving was lovely and offered an alternative which did help so we ordered the alternative. Everything was fine until the food came out and it was absolutely awful the parsnips, carrots and potatoes were rock hard, the cauliflower cheese was dry and the beef that my partner and dad ordered was dripping with blood. I hate to say it as the pub itself is a lovely pub, but definitely will not be...
