I visited Duxford this past week. The Concorde Experience was outstanding. While this specific plane did not carry passengers, it really demonstrates the extensive research, testing and work that went into making sure that Concorde was safe for passenger flight. The exhibit is outstanding. The Concorde is loaded with computer equipment. A few seats on the plane for staff, and amazing views of the flight deck of Concorde. This is one of four test planes, and still holds the fastest Atlantic crossing at 2 hours 56 minutes It isnt actually part of the war museum and depends on voluntary donations (suggested £3).
