Any reductionist explanation of the River Cam, beginning with the formation of oxygen in the universe, the early history of the earth and its acquisition of water, the major continental drifts and the prevailing climatic conditions, would, perhaps, miss the point.

A must experience thing in the whole of Cambridge. The weather was cold but bright day and got some pics.
