DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS DIRECTIONS!!! Took us to completely the wrong place. When we arrived after a nice little walk to the farm, over the river and through the steam train station, the prices weren't too bad and there was a nice variety of animals, food bag for £1 to feed the animals, some of which you can get into the pens with, guinea pigs too hold. Very clean lots of sinks and sanitizer. Nice Cafe with lots of seating. Only reason for 4 star was due to the lack of signage to help find the place and overall it's a fairly small place, you can get around it quite quickly, could maybe do with a play area for kids to break the time up a bit.

Absolutly loved visiting this little farm while we were on holiday in Totnes. Its only small, but well worth a visit. Its such a hands on farm where you can get in with most of the animals and stroke and feed them (you can buy little bags of food from the entrance). The hand washing facilities are very good and there are hand sanitising stations all around the farm. You can't drive directly to this place, you need to park at Totnes leisure centre and walk about 5 mins to it which is fine, but I wouldn't recommend it for those that need wheel chair access or cant navigate steps.

What a lovely little farm. You can walk there from Totnes railway or catch the train from Buckfastleigh on the South Devon Railway. Great place for kids to explore and see animals which they can touch. There's owls, pigs, sheep, donkey, ducks, goats, chickens, baby goats and feeding time you can take part in. There's lots of animals for them to see. Not a massive farm but perfect for little children. Pram friendly and safe for kids to walk around. Staff are very friendly. There's a small shop for food, ice cream, tea/coffee etc and a place to sit. Worth a visit.

Great place for animal lovers like us to come. You can enter animal pens and stroke them for as long as they want you to. We were there after the goats had given birth a couple weeks ago and the kids were adorable and so soft to touch. The mother was with them and loved having her neck and chin scratched. The cafe wasnt too expensive. A bottled chocolate milkshake and carrot cake was £4.15. We have experienced alot worse prices on out travels. Wasnt well sign posted at one park of the woodland walk to get there and we managed to guess right on the way there but on the way back we got lost and walked alot further and ended up on a housing estate next to the train station. We enjoyed the farm and the walk, was not in a rush to get back to the car as you have to pay to park all day. There is no option for 2 hour parking...

Absolutely nightmare getting here. DO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV! Ended up lost in a private farm!!!! Rang and they told me to park at the train station. Train station had 1 charge of over £6!!! After waiting ages at the train station for info was told there is another car park around the corner!!! Finally got parked. No clear signage of where to go! I have 2 children under 5!!! It’s then a maze of a half-mile walk to the steam train station I’m told. Finally get to the crossing & the farm is in sight but the gate is shut. I wait 5 more mins for it to open!!!! We cross and there is a tiny sign saying no toilets you have to use the station toilets!! Back we go!!!! Then back at the gate for another wait!!! Finally here!!! Never driving again!!!!!!!!!! What a joke!!!!!

My advice - get the train from Buckfastleigh the farm...

A lovely day out, really well run (recently taken over by new owners and you can see the changes they want to make are taking place) it was great before the change of ownership but is even better now. The ONLY downside, which I don’t really think is a downside - but can’t do their footfall any favours - is that the farm is linked to the South Devon Railway - you have to pass through the platform, walk right to the end and across a small level crossing in order to access the farm. The signage for pedestrians and cars alike is not ideal either, so the best place to park is by the leisure centre and walk the half a mile to the entrance. Luckily Google Maps exists, so I would suggest having a look at the area before you turn up with a little one in tow, not knowing exactly...
