The cafe has been moved since I last visited to the other end of the supermarket, and you now collect a mug & order what food you would like, then after paying you get your drink from one of the two machines near the cutlery & condiments, It was extremely busy when I arrived with a big queue & not many cakes left, I had the last slice of carrot cake & a black coffee, both were delicious, fresh moist cake & very hot coffee even though one machine was out of order & the one that I used was initially self cleaning before I could use it, staff very under pressure but polite enough plus all the meals coming out of the kitchen going to individual tables looked well cooked.

Thought I'd come here for a good old English fried breakfast, Wish I'd thought twice. Tinned mushrooms, Sweet baked beans, Bacon tasting absolutely disgusting, Farmed tomato, Luke warm cardboard texture hash browns, At least the fried bread and Battery Hen egg were cooked correctly! This isn't giving Morrisons any credit, Wake Up Area Manager and drop in for breakfast without giving prior notification.

Food was great but very filling couldn't move after. Tables were a bit dirty and charging 10p extra for a sachet for sauce is a bit rubbish. Not enough beans. Free cereal

I've eaten here before for a quick, inexpensive meal and today, it was inexpensive but it most certainly wasn't quick. The food quality wasn't bad and I have to say, that for the price, it was ok. Good sized portion for the money. When I arrived, I looked where to sit and a majority of tables hadn't been cleared. I get places have staffing issues but 2 waitress, who were also taking payments at the till, were running the tables too. Another was busy messing about in the back with the 2 kitchen staff. She might have been a KP but should've come out front to clear tables. Once I found my table (at a disabled access table due to many others not being cleaned) I ordered my food on the self service pod. No issues, went through smoothly. These would be great in other establishments. I ordered at 13:11. At 13:41 I still haven't got my meal (bangers and mash!) I enquired and had to wait a further 10 minutes before my food arrived. I'm no grouch and I think it's important people enjoy their work, and having worked in the Hospitality industry and that my wife works for a 5 star cruise company and previously, the Shangri-la hotel group, these kitchen staff spent the whole time messing about and were wasting time rather than preparing customers orders. One of the guys, maybe a supervisor, was slightly better but overall their lack of professionalism contributed to the slowness of the food coming out. There were a decent number of customers but there were still multiple empty tables.

SUMMARY- The parking is a bonus, but just because it gives you access to the town and locality for a whole day for less than £3. The food was ok at best. And the service, considering potential staff shortages, needed to be better managed rather than the supervisor messing around with the kitchen staff. Value for money was good.

RECOMMEND? Hmm...for the parking, absolutely. For coffee, likely....

It’s the best and most reasonable price in town if you want some hot food in the afternoon. Especially when you’re tired of pasty and baguettes lol

Even it’s probably like ready meals, it’s decent though. Especially their opening times and values is epic.

Morrison, for the god sake, please hire one more staff to support the staffs here. He needs to do the cooking, ordering, serving and cleaning. It’s just too much and it’s not gonna be good paid I suppose. Not good looking for the company! That’s not how you treat good employees. 5 stars for the great staff not Morrison!!!

Btw, lots of meals is not served. Kids meals...
