Great Beach a bit of the beaten path.30 minute walk from Gorran Haven on the SW coastal path or 15 minutes from the Lamledra car park. This is accessed from the Northern End and consists of a sandy bank at the back of the beach with a stone bank and a granite sand incline to the water. Steep drop of under water so waves can be a bit fierce especially when the tide is going out. Plenty of space with long lively walks to the far end.Great for a BBQ. There are no facilities here. Top Tip 1. Keep an eye on tide times as the far end of the beach can get cut off Top Tip 2. The granite sand at the water's edge can be a bit sharp so swim/beach shoes recommended. Top Tip 3. Dogs welcome all year round and plenty of space for them to run off. Top Tip 4. The far end tends to be more level and plenty of sea birds congregated at this end.

Amazing beach, small national trust car park at the top of the hill, it's a bit of a steep path down to the beach so take everything with you as you won't want pop back to the car. The 2nd half of the beach (beyond the white cross) is ok if you prefer not to wear any beachwear as nobody will mind, there's plenty of beach for all to share so please be respectful of those that prefer to be natural. There are no facilities here so if you have weak bladder I'd suggest finding a different beach, Walking back to the car will make you puff a bit so again this beach might not be ideal for you if you have a heart condition etc but there is a bench to rest on half way up to catch your breath. I will be going back again soon.

The beach was wonderful. The weather on the day was very windy and mixed showers mid July but it was still delightful. Quiet beach and only accessible on foot 20 minute walk downhill from the car park. It’s a hike. The car park is accessed uphill up a single track very slim road. We managed in a Mondeo saloon but it was difficult meeting oncoming cars having to reverse etc. worth it though! Lots of bird life and bug life. Beautiful views and decent surfer waves! Ideal for a picnic.

Slightly shingley but none the less a beautiful spot. The car park is up a very narrow lane so if you drive a Range Rover it won't be for you. A bit of a clamber down but nothing too challenging unless you are fully loaded.

There are NO facilities on this beach.

There is a naturalist area at the far end. Everything from the painted Cornish flag, so if that's not your thing stay on the southern end where you access.

Beach shoes will be needed to swim as the shoreline is...
