The Mermaid Beach Cafe — Restaurant in England

Popped into The Mermaid Café and honestly, the lady serving deserves her own fan club friendly, helpful, and just all round awesome. If she’d sold raffle tickets, I’d have bought a strip.

Now, the lattes… wow. Creamy enough to make you forget sugar and sweeteners even exist. Smooth, rich, and dangerously easy to drink basically dessert in a mug without the guilt. If I lived any closer, I’d be in here so often they’d probably start charging me rent for a chair.

Lovely ice-cream. Plenty of choice of flavours. Choice of waffle cone sizes and plain or chocolate and also traditional cones available. The food that was being served looked top notch although we only had ice-cream. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating outside. Not wheelchair accessible although you can sit a couple of wheelchairs outside if carefully positioned. Rough ramped access required to the beach at all times. Safe harbor and beach with a carpark just up the road. Cafe is right on the beach...

Lovely little cafe right on the beach. Great selection of hot and cold drinks, ice creams, cakes and snacks. Lemon meringue muffins were delicious! Luckily they had just reopened after the winter break when we visited at Easter. So glad they did! Looking forward to the next visit to Gorran Haven and sampling some more yummy cakes and coffee!
