Stevenage Museum is small. It could be a 20 minute walk through or a good 1 hour stop, look, listen and learn which I do recommend. That said, it packs a punch for its size and fits a lot in. There are plenty of interactive exhibits although these are aimed at children with a slightly longer attention span so would recommend 9 years plus. There are a few bits aimed at younger children but when I visited, this meant a bit of drawing and colouring in
The ideal audience is adult and able to appreciate more of the specific and as I discovered, quite unique and actually quite interesting history of Stevenage which is something I really didn't appreciate.
It's worth a visit. Don't expect a lot but enjoy the punch-packing surprise...
