Read moreWhat a great place. Well kept and maintained water pumping station powered by steam. As visitors you get to see the full process. In the blacksmiths you can buy steel items made there, and even watch while your order is created. Very good food at a nice price from the gate café. Toilets were very clean. Disabled access to all of the areas that I visited. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and volunteers. Nothing is too much trouble for them, typical of us here in the North East. I would definitely revisit. Check their opening times before attending. Great place we loved it, ages 1 to 57. Free entry but donated into one of the...
