Fratelli — Restaurant in Sunderland

We'd read the reviews & for a different type of takeaway we tried it, to say I was disappointed was an understatement. The prices are on a par with a run of the mill Italian restaurant but unfortunately the food wasn't, especially the peppercorn sauce which was insipid. It may have been an off day, it might have been a relief chef, in fact it could have been any one of a multitude of reasons but the one night we tried Fratellis the food was atrocious. Been ordering from here for many years, food has always been exceptional. The last two times I’ve ordered though the standards have completely slipped, disappointing when you pay more in order for the quality. Been here a few times over the years and the standards here are non existent. Pizza was raw and the cheese so undercooked there was big puddles of grease all over it.
