Attended creative writing workshops run by Kirsten Luckins, looking at creating Haiku. First workshop was an introduction, followed by a Haiku walk, then back into this beautiful building to create our Haiku. At the second we looked at combing written our Haiku with images to create reels. Both sessions were so relaxed and unpressured and supportive, so whether you were a seasoned writer or a complete beginner you were made to feel welcome and included. There is a third workshop on 27th April - you don't have to have been to the others to join in. The building is beautiful and the staff very friendly and welcoming with a wealth of knowledge about the church build and the area around it. Read more🕯️ Candlelight: Vivaldi's Four Seasons, by Northern String Quartet. Many will have seen adverts recently about this 1 hour show in our region. Advice: GET TICKETS! We went (13/10/23) to see this show at Trinity Church, Sunderland. It was entirely lit with over 3,000 candles as a backdrop, to listen to these highly skilled musicians, who play throughout the UK and internationally .
