Beautiful park has become dogs poop field. Too many agressive dogs without a lead followed by aggresive owners. I live in Upton and stopped going there with my children as impossible to stroll pushchair , ride a bike or scooter without catching dogs poo. Disgusting . My kids were attacked by aggresive dogs off the leads on numerous occasions. I contribute to upkeeping this place but unable to enjoy it due to entitled and ignorant dog owners. Sad but this is everyday reality in Upton. Also , I want to add dogs poops on High Street and all over Upton -literally on doorsteps-dog walkers/ owners don' t care about cleaning after their dogs at all. Very aggressive when confronted. Obviously the reviewers who say "It's just a field" have never walked the pathways around the exterior. It is not a huge country park, but it's great for walking dogs. It used to get quite muddy in places at one time, but they have now gravelled over those areas so you don't need boots to walk round it. The path follows the River Nene for much of its length, so you can often see ducks and swans puddling about.
