Butterfly House — Attraction in West Oxfordshire

I love butterflies and this was the main reason to visit Blenheim Palace. There were some beautiful butterflies and I even had 2 of them land on me, one of them stayed on my leg for quite a while. I spent about 15 minutes watching the pupas in the glass box wriggling and hoping one would hatch but I left a bit despondent, although there was one at the back that had recently emerged and was drying it's wings. The Butterflies are beautiful and worth seeing. There were no signs to explain to visitors how to protect the butterfly, or directions, people all over the place. Worth visiting at quieter times as you could spend ages in here watching and photographing the huge range of beautiful butterflies. It would be great if there were benches inside to sit and watch them but if you stand still for a while you may get some land on you. The Dahlia beds outside were also...
