A nice viewpoint to see the whole Windermere ..... Go up from Brantfell Road. You will see a gate at the end of the road and use the iron one to enter the farm area. Continue to go uphill and you hv to pass through two wooden gates. And till you reach a farm wall, it would have steps to help you crossing it. After that, you will see the Brantfell Viewpoint, where is the highest point of the hill, you have to walk a bit downhill and all the way up. You will reach the summit in 10 mins. And the whole journey to the viewpoint would be around 30-35 mins

Breathtaking views of the Windermere lake and surrounding areas. The hike is relatively easy. This place is just walkable distance from bowness. Not that busy. If you have a car, you can park it down on the side of the road and can start the hike. We had small kids in our group, yet we manage to climb. The view is spectacular. You can see tiny villages and the lake. You can club this hike along with your visit to the Lake Windermere.

Amazing hike! It can get really muddy during the rainy times otherwise the walk is quite fun. There are lots of rocks on top where you can go up to have the best view. The steep hill up from the junction is the only hard bit. For the the ones who using public transport, get Bus no. 599 from Windermere train station and get down at St Martins church stop. There you could find the Brantfell road and that's your starting point.
