With some investment, this could be a great aesthetically pleasing venue for gigs and events. It does provide a dramatic backdrop for presentations and outdoor theatre It is not open to the public as the structure of the building is unsafe. There is therefore no charge for entry. The surrounding park and gardens are lovely for residents to enjoy with access to a large park and riverside walk. We have attended two free events - a Light show which was lovely on a dark winters night and a theatre production of Much Ado about nothing (was hard to hear at the back so should arrive earlier).
