Things to know before you go: 📍Rockland Rail Trail (also known as Hanover Branch Rail Trail) extends from West Hanover, through Rockland, to North Abington 🅿️ We parked on Monroe Street in Abington, MA, but there are many points of entry onto the rail trail, and you could also start in Hanover (by the Hanover Street and Circuit Street intersection) 🚲 the trail is fully paved, your pass back houses and businesses, but there are also beautiful wooded sections. There are a few quiet street crossings to navigate, as well as 2 larger intersections, depending on which side you decided to start from. 🍩 Hole in One Donuts and Coffee is at 482 Market Street, Rockland, MA - so keep an eye on your @AllTrails map so you can stop for snacks along the way! 🚻 there are no restrooms along the trail 🐶 dogs are welcome 🛝 and Beaverbrook playground is not far from Monroe Street (if you choose to park on that side of the trail) #rocklandrailtrail #hanoverbranchrailtrail #bikepath #southshorema
