Old Town Cafe — Restaurant in Abington

The food here is pretty good for typical New England fare. The prices are low compared to other breakfast joints in the area. A pet peeve of mine is when someone holds their hand out to take their card back, and the cashier sets it down on the counter and says "Here you go" - it comes off as ignorant and rude, save these staff people love doing that to you. Not all, but most. It's a quiet little diner, though, and their food is good, so I play the game back with the ones that do it to me. Thought i would share our experience today. I had brought 2 of my kids and husband for breakfast this morning as we were eating a tall man came out from the back. I think he was the owner. He started talking to my youngest because she was insisting on needed more syrup on the few pieces of pancakes i gave her from my plate. I don’t of her cuteness or the strong urge of another parent wanting help but this very kind man went to the back and in lightening speed brought her back her own pancake free of charge. I will never again order from this place. I usually never have an issue. This morning I ordered food through door dash for breakfast at work. As I’m eating the taste was unusual. The portion size was terrible and they used the toast to cover it up. However, the worst part was raw meat In my food when I did Not order meat at all. Absolutely disgusting! I am just going to prepare for the food poisoning. Very disgusted. I called them myself and the woman who picked up stated she didn’t know what to say but sorry.
