One visit in and I'd say this isn't a bad place to go for a walk. My wife and I saw plenty of native plants growing, such as Blue Lobelia, Yellow Coneflower, and a ton of Common Milkweed, among others. Red-tailed Hawk gave us a good aerial show, which was awesome.

While I prefer more natural pathways to walk/hike, it isn't uncomfortable. I wish the pools of water weren't so murky looking, but I get it. The summer heat helped spawn more algae blooms. Depending where you're at on the trail, the sounds of traffic might be slightly distracting. Especially when you want a quiet and peaceful walk.

Cricket Creek is a nice tranquil wooded setting with a couple ponds off of Route 83. So, if you're tired of the daily grind, the hustle and bustle, of work and life.
