Returning back to the island after a long time away, this has been one of the few spots where my son and I were able to find some peace. Sadly too many beaches of my childhood here have been shuttered or converted into private areas, typical of tourists purchasing beachfront property to escape their mainland existence. You'd think this was being remade into Newport Beach against the will of the locals, but that's 'progress' for you. Beach is beautiful and clean with a slight cliff with a view/lookout point. Small little park for the kids that's shaded by the trees. A nice and tall tree house.
