Ski-Hi 6 Allen Theatres — Attraction in Alamosa

The recording for the theater said Guardians of the Galaxy started at 5:10 p.m. We arrived at 4:50 so we'd have a few minutes to get concessions, find our seats and take turns going to the restroom knowing we are getting large drinks and have been on the road 45 minutes to get to the theater. This theater starts the movie when they say, forget previews, etc. buying you any time. When we walked into the theater room the movie was playing in the room was already dark and the movie had started playing; it turned out it started at 5 not 5:10; we'd only missed a minute or two but everyone knows the first minute or two can be important to a movie's theme. After the movie I went to the concession stand to tell them the time discrepancy​ and that we had missed the start of the movie. She shrugged her shoulders and said they knew but only the owner can change it then she turned away. This was Sunday, that meant for three days others had been misled and they had an "oh well" attitude". We had a problem the last time we were there also. They are the only game in town, you literally have to go a few hours away to get to another theater so they know you're trapped. I have been going here since I was a little kid The owner has always been the rudest person I have ever met. But it gets worse with every interaction . tonight I was in the theater alone. Completely empty I got a text checked my phone she came up and told me it is illegal to have my phone on in an "auditorium" she continuously asked for my name to refund my money. I went to leave she started asking employees what my name was. Kept saying she had never seen me before it made me very uncomfortable. She wanted me to write my name on the ticket. I have came to this theater since the day they opened and its always been a good experience. Now that they are finally (slowly) upgrading the theater I come more often, they finally accept credit cards, updated the concession area and some seats. The prices are very fair for a theater, I hear others complain about the ticket price but they obviously have never gone to a theater outside the valley. The staff here are mostly friendly, theaters are always clean, the restrooms need to be updated and the soda is soo watered down I can hardly taste what its supposed to be, but the popcorn is...
