This 80 acre forest park is a hidden gem in Anchorage. It has a nice, quiet, walking loop trail. There is a smaller loop inside a larger loop. Visitors often see moose and an occasional bear so please be aware of your surroundings. An old exercise trail gives suggestions on some stretches at stations along the trail loops. On the neighborhood side of the park, a wonderful sledding hill starts at the end of Upland drive. It is cleared of brush and trees. This is a pleasant place to take a walk with your dog or family.
