Such a great B&B! Sondra greeted us at arrival and walked us through everything, offering suggestions of things to do and took our breakfast orders. We weren't in town long since we were headed up to Denali so Sondra gave us great advice about the limited gas stations we were about to encounter - highly recommend checking with her if you're headed that way. ||Breakfast was amazing. So much food and all of it delicious! It was fun to chat with the other guests and Sondra while she was cooking. Make sure you have an appetite and leave enough time in your morning to sit down to enjoy everything! Like others have said, we were full until the late afternoon from the breakfast feast.||With three adults, we had an additional bed in the room which took up most of the space, but you aren't going to hang out in your room anyway - comfortable shared living room downstairs. The included robes were great and Sondra stocked the bathroom with everything you could probably need/want/think of wanting. The keypads for the room and the front door were also high-tech and super easy to use (Sondra gave a tutorial and double checked you were able to use them as well).||Another bonus is that we got to feed the chickens in the backyard blueberries! ||Highly recommend...

Is definitely a 10/10 place!! Highly recommend: it is beautiful. Small and cozy vibes. Gorgeous house! Bedrooms are great for couples or a small family. I had my husband, 1 year old daughter, and me in a room and fit great! Extremely clean and had lots of extras for guest to use. Don’t have to worry about shower stuff if you forget it! The breakfast menu is amazing and we tried three different things and all were delicious. Highly recommend the avocado toast and chicken & waffles! Lovely owner that cares about the people who are staying there. Sondra definitely cares about this business and the people who support her! She is an amazing cook and keeps everything nice for all guest! Will recommend restaurants and places to eat in the area! We shared really good conversations with her and she made it feel like we were home! In a nice area where things are close by! It’s not too close though where it is loud and feels like you’re in a city. Well worth the money and I am definitely booking here for future trips...

Never having stayed in a B&B before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. This was beyond my expectations and even better than what I initially thought when I signed up! I don’t know if another B&B will ever compare to SunStar, as the originality, geniality, innovation, and value was far ahead of any other homely residence I’ve come across.

To begin with, Sondra built and curated this house with her own two hands, which really highlights the craftsmanship and personality of both her and her grand project! Being from Los Angeles (and so is she!), I appreciate a modern, clean-cut, high-tech, minimalistic twist on style, and the whole property had exactly that! To know that the being behind their business truly cares about the quality and ability of the company is rare, and Sondra’s speciality there is strong.

To say I was taken care of well is an understatent, all with her being readily available, helpful, and peppy with a smile and go-getter attitude. :-) My trip to Alaska was a lot warmer with her in...
