DeLong Lake Park — Attraction in Alaska

I honestly love this place, it's a clean lake no swimmers itch or leeches. There is a nice dock. They do stock the lake with fish, if you want to do a little fishing with the kiddos. The parking lot is small so in a nice day it is really packed. Even with a bunch of people, the place has such good vibes and is legitimately relaxing. BRING BUG SPRAY! You don't always need it but there is times where the mosquitoes have great breeding ground and can be really obnoxious...

Awesome place to fish! Elevated paved path allows people to fish from the shore. Large dock. Marsh like area that you can walk around to open spaces around the lake to fish. We saw tons of fish jumping and lot of people catching at dusk (at the end of September). Lots of parking. 2 portable toliets. We will be back to...

Get out and fish this lake. Just be courteous and keep a close eye on your vehicle. It's a great ice fishing lake. Awesome kayak open water lake. It's small but there are alot of fish. The stocked trout are tasty and they die if they're not harvested so...
