We walked the trail beginning at National Harbor, skirted the little bay and up the circular path to the pedestrian/bike bridge going over I-495 beltway. What a beautifully maintained trail. Walking along the water is so soothing. The landscaping is so well done. All kinds of trees and shrubs. Annuals and perennials. Lots of plant info and historical info on plaques along the way. The views are spectacular of National Harbor, Alexandria and Washington DC. (The traffic noise is not too bad on the Maryland side. ) Highly recommend this trail. Easy going. Great views.
