This museum is a genuine treasure! The cleanliness, the many artifacts, displays, historical records and truths, gift shop, and the organization of it all are exemplary. There are items and displays that will interest all ages within your family. The museum would grace a larger city, it's that decent. The only sadness I have over visiting is that not more time was spent there, but being pressed for time that day it was my fault and not the museum's. There'll be better planning next time to spend a full afternoon enjoying it... so next time I'll have my camera with me to hopefully help to impart a better sense of this gem, posting the photographs here some time...
Read moreThis is a very clean and well maintained Museum. Free admission. They have wonderful decorative Arts from the late 1890s in early nineteen hundreds. If you like antiques this is a place to go. They explain the history of this region from the time of the American Indian through the settlers. It is well described with respect to each display. The bathrooms were immaculately clean. There's no admission fee. I highly recommend this for a self-guided tour.
