Big Creek Greenway — Attraction in Alpharetta

This greenway is gorgeous and well taken care of. The pathway is paved and winds through a gorgeous wooded area right next to a creek. You're in the heart of Alpharetta, but you wouldn't know it once you get a few steps down the road. Right at the start of the greenway they have well-kept bathrooms that are unlocked and heated during the winter, so that's a big draw for convenience's sake. The trail is available to people walking, running, and bicycling so it's usually quite populated, but I've never felt crowded, even on a sunny, busy weekend. This trail located near YMCA is part of the popular Big Creek Greenway trail and is great for a quiet and relaxing walk.

Although it's pretty close to the YMCA and the main road, the trail is secluded from the traffic noise. Great for walking alone or with pets and biking. I also saw a challenge course in the middle of the trail - must be for the YMCA kids.
