An amazing hike up the hill with beautiful views of the city. It took us just under an hour to find the bicycle tree and The Desk. There is a map at the entrance to the trails to help guide you. For about the last 10 minutes, we used GPS to help us out. We had also picked up a printed map from the visitor's center. Make sure to wear sturdy sneakers or hiking boots as the climb is rocky and steep. Recommend going first thing in the morning as the sun is rising and it's also not too hot out. Definitely bring a bottle of water. Also bring a sharpee if you want to leave your mark on the desk. The one's in the drawers were uncapped...

Unexpectedly gorgeous trails once you can find the trailhead! Google maps takes you to a different parking lot, below the trailhead. Regardless, my dog and I still had a fun adventure hike here today.

There are a lot of trails and trail off shoots, none of which are marked, so be prepared to get a little lost. There are gorgeous desert, plants and beautiful scenery. Bring lots of water...

It's a bit of a really challenging hike. Not for the less fit folk like myself.. but the new girlfriend is trying to get me in shape so I did my best. Beautiful results at the top and was a good feeling to get there. Doable for the challenge for sure. Just be careful of the rocky terrain and be sure and take the map with you. Got ours at the local information center near...

Came to see the famous 200lbs desk located on Hancock Hill. It’s an Alpine thing to do and ran across some other hikers. It’s a moderate challenge and finding it could be an issue. Take a picture of the map and once you pass the second rock pile you’re near. You will come across some bicycles on a tree and then bam!!! The Desk.
