I’ve been coming to Alton Bay and sitting on the grassy area between the ramp and the dock all my life. I’m So disappointed to see that the wall is starting to cave in a bit and the handrail has been taken out for us older people that love to get in the lake. With the no trespassing sign up there’s really nowhere for me to get into the water anymore. Such a disappointment! Are there any plans to reinstall the handrail...

A nice place for a stroll to bring back memories. Not too far from the Penacook-Abenaki headquarters where you can learn more about New Hampshire's longest lasting tribe, too. I enjoy visiting this park in the summer especially, since there are multiple ice cream options. Enjoyed a lovely date...

The lake was so calm when I saw it and that made it so beautiful. There were few people gazing at this gorgeous place and you could tell they were enjoying. So was I.
