Bella Moon Barn — Attraction in Alvin

The good: Great barn that is competitively priced and close to home

The bad: By far the WORST contractor/vendor that we had for our wedding. Owner is VERY unorganized, NOT responsive to emails, messages, or calls until the week prior to the wedding. This led to a very chaotic and uncomfortable experience when "all of a sudden" she didn't recall some accommodations she made for us, a teacher discount which was never honored, and realized our wedding slot was scheduled on a Sunday, later than she "usually allows", even though this was communicated from the beginning. Although we offered to pay for the additional time to ensure all of our things were picked up from the venue the owner kept insisting that would not be necessary. The result was a very frantic and chaotic exit with her threatening to close the gates with our guests and coordinator, that stayed behind to clean up the venue, left to fend for themselves. Trash had to be bagged with no bags provided by the venue. Owner then had the audacity to imply we burned some logs near the campfire spot based on finding a cigarette butt in the vicinity when in reality we found the logs smoldering upon entering the venue in the morning and no one from our party that smoked went near the fire pit vicinity. We never saw a deposit back...

My advice: Spend the extra money and look elsewhere to avoid the unnecessary stress and drama on your big day. If you still opt for her services I would highly recommend asking for EVERYTHING in writing and keeping documentation of all...

My wedding day was absolutely perfect at Bella Moon Barn! The industrial details had the exact vibe that I wanted! Even though the outdoor Ceremony options are gorgeous, I decided to have my Ceremony inside in order to use their gorgeous black doors as a part of my backdrop. Yanira was helpful every step of the way! She was willing to give me ideas and embraced all my ideas to make my wedding unique. I can tell that Yanira genuine loves her Clients. She Made my day so great. Oh! And the low Venue price was AMAZING! It really helped to make my budget go further! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING...

Beautiful venue that combines modern interiors and amenities with the romance of a hill country wedding! It's worth the drive from Houston to Alvin to feel tucked away from the city. It's a family-owned venue that makes you feel like family instead of like just another event client.

Their outdoor ceremony site looks straight from the pages of a wedding magazine with it's urban-woodland chapel vibe! There's enough space inside and out to host a ceremony with space for socialzing, eating, dnacing, yard games, and maybe even a campfire.
