The attendant was very friendly. We did not have to wait at all since we were the only ones in the museum for a while. The attendant told us they were in the process of switching exhibits so one of the floors was completely empty, but the floors that had items were so intricate, beautiful, and fascinating. The pieces are also permanent pieces donated by Dr. William Price and his wife. The interactive art was also a lot of fun and entertaining for my 3 kids (ages 11-15) and myself. Visiting NM from WA, made the trip over because everything mentions the Georgia O'Keefe paintings in the permanent collection. Was disappointed that they were not on display. Nice to see a small work by Louise Nevelson. Could do without the collections of Asian art that should probably be back where it was looted from. The American Indigenous exhibit was very in depth and if you have the time to fully read each piece you can fill an entire day feeling depressed about the treatment that continues...
