We went here for the George Strait concert. The stadium was completely unprepared for this event. There was no one directing where people should go, which resulted in a mass amount of people wandering around. When we finally made it to the ticket stand, we headed for drinks. We waited in line for an hour before we made it to the front. There were no "lines" as time went on, just people pushing their way to the front. A "manager" came thru with a pallet of drinks and a hoard of people followed and the lady staff member, the part we were in (only two at this stand) started serving them. MULTIPLE people went in front of us, even though the manager said he was only selling 4 cans. We unfortunately had to advocate for ourselves and others behind us, also perturbed, that we had been waiting for an hour at this time. They also were checking IDs and applying wristbands at the beer cards, this delay could have been avoided if it was done at the main gate/ticket entry, to allow lines to move quicker and give people a place walk through as these beer lines were now just a mass of people veering into the front. When we finally were able to make our transaction, the tablet died as our card was inserted. Again, these dead tablets could have been avoided with an extension cord to keep them plugged in and running, as the other server, a gentleman, his was dead as well. At this point, all sales are at a standstill. We unfortunately missed Little Big Town, got to see some of Chris Stapleton. Maybe opening the gates at 4:30 pm with a start time of 5:45 with that many amount of people was a bad idea and should have been opened earlier to allow more time for people to access food/drink and their seats. People behind us in the lines also hadn't found their seats yet. A gentleman waited in line for an hour to find out when he got close there was no water, then he waited again at a different time in a different line to find out there was no water for his pregnant wife. When we finally saw George Strait it was good! Exiting the stadium was easy, however, we waited for an hour for a ride. There was no security, no event workers around whatsoever. After a hour of waiting for an Uber or Lyft, we made calls to multiple cab companies with no success. It then started to torrential downpour and decided to walk to the front gates for shelter. No event staff paid any attention to us until a nice gentleman(not sure if he was a worker or not) was nearby and took attention to us. We explained our bad luck situation. This man took us back to our hotel in which he was compensated very well for. We were so thankful to him for allowing us to get back safely after a night of utter chaos!!! Needless to say, we will not be attending another concert at...
Read moreI’ve tried to communicate with staff at this arena, but I can’t even get a return call!!! So here it goes. We spent over 600$ to get pretty decent seats for George Strait and Christ Stapleton, about the 15th or so row. . When we arrived, there were people already in our seats. So we stood in the very large isle and once a security person walked past us, at which time they stopped to hug the very people sitting in our seats and we learned that the seat stealers were family to this person, and then informed us we would need to move or be removed from the venue. At which time I informed them that our seats were currently being occupied but the people to the right of us that he had just lovingly embraced. This security guard, then inspected our tickets, never even engaging the people he was familiar with to ask about the authenticity of their tickets, because he already knew I’m sure, then informed us that we could be relocated to other seats about 30 rows back, and that he was not going to ask those people to move. 3 days prior I had put a very large nail through my foot. I was in a lot of pain. And I’d hit my limit. So I said screw that and asked to speak to a manager higher than this idiot. Well long story short, the next one offered to let us stand in the beer area and watch the concert and that they didn’t have any seats available to us other than a single chair by a very smelly trash can 40 rows back. I sat at it for 15 min to give my wounded foot a break, then we had decided we had enough abuse. We completely missed Chris Stapleton during all this, and we were to pissed to enjoy George strait. Long story short, they screwed us out of our tickets, wasted our time, money and our 10th anniversary celebration. So obviously this venue doesn’t honor the tickets it sells, nor does management or staff hive any consideration to the tickets you purchase. I will continue to fight for the return on my hard earned money back because treating people like this is...
Read moreAttended George Strait Concert with my 70+ yr old mother & Aunt who are disabled and can't climb stairs. We parked off site and took Lyft in to avoid walking long distance bcuz ADA parking was sold out. There was no ADA compliant rideshare drop-off or pick-up area designated. We were able to easily enough get to our floor seats, without having to climb stairs. Problems started when there was only ONE porta potty for the entire floor area (more than 1,000 people). Also, only ONE place to get beverages in the floor area. Needless to say, we were unable to even get bottled water after waiting in line for 40 minutes! This was absolutely NOT ADA compliant for the number of people at the venue in the floor area alone. Then, after the concert, we were unable to get any ADA compliant assistance getting out of the venue. Nobody could tell us where the rideshare pick-up location was, so we waited over 90 minutes in a parking lot without being able to get Lyft or Uber. While waiting, a thunderstorm rolled in, so we hid in Porta potties in the parking lot while waiting on rideshare. I ended up hitch hiking back to my car in order to come back and pick up my 70+ ye old disabled mother & Aunt while they waited for me in a Porta potty during a thunderstorm at 1 am. This venue was severely lacking in proper ADA compliance for the # of people attending this event. We were VERY disappointed in the lack of organization...
