I attended a public annual spring plant sale and had the best time! The staff were extremely inviting, informed, and genuinely interested in plants and gardening and a whole host of other topics! They also pointed me towards a wild turkey that is a resident at the botanical gardens building-- he enjoys looking at himself in the windows! He's also very talkative! I can't wait until their fall sale, it's going on my calendar permanently!

We were there at 10am 8/20/22 and the place was closed parking lot empty. I checked the door and it was locked, no lights, no signs or notices, and no people. I saw a small sign with an arrow that pointed around back so we went and found a small garden. This place is designed more as an event venue than for people who want to see beautiful plants. We were disappointed

Really great event space. We hosted a baby shower here and it was perfect for the occasion. There are several rooms of different sizes for different types of events. We had access to a small kitchenette which was really helpful.

The Longleaf Botanical Gardens is a great place to go and sit and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of nature. They also have a nature trail that takes you up into the wooded area behind the Gardens. The Gardens were built by volunteers around the surrounding communities to the gardens. I hope you have time to stop by and take a look around and possibly take the nature trail on a journey I to the...
