This is a great park to visit. It makes mind refreshing you have so many options here for family outing . You can setup barbecue have bike riding go on for jogging play basketball and much more . The place is really chilled except you need mosquito repellent. There are varieties of trees here and they resemble and give you nice feeling of into the woods. You have nice path way which is decent for walk. My personal visit was wonderful it made my day actually you get distressed as I started to dog walk and then soon I was reading my favorite novel near the lake. With some light snacks made it really interesting. It is nice to visit when it’s weather is pretty chilled as you don’t feel much heat. Mississippi River community has really done this fantastic job of maintaining it specially the caben has added beauty to it as you can sit and watch the lake view. There are MRT trail routes on both the Anoka County and Hennepin County sides of the Mississippi River. This sections incorporates a wooded flood plain area and passive recreation with 2 miles of paved trails and natural prairie flower areas. There's a playground for kids and features picnic shelters with cooking grills, concession stand, volleyball court, basketball court, river access, and places for fishing/hunting. Great for a ride, walk, kids, picnics, hunting,...

Some signs along the trails with history of Kings Island and the Cutter family. I loved the trails along the Mississippi River. Lots of signs of wildlife. Paved trails are perfect for biking walking, running, etc. Very nice shelter that can be reserved through the city of Anoka. Not busy while I was there...but is...
