Village Laundry — Attraction in Anthony

The only complaint I "used" to have about this place is the owner/woman couldn't ever open on time. WELL, now they have staff who actually is there on time and opens at 7 a.m.! Wide selection of machines from top load to extra large front loaders. Dryers are 25 cents for 10 minutes. The one dryer in the front room (bottom right on the west wall) always gives an error code, but if open and close the door it goes away and works. They have an outdoor patio you can wash & dry at too. They also have their carwash on the property. I have been using this place for over a year. They seem to close up a little early on Sundays when it suits them. No annoying TV blasting garbage. They have a radio going, station depending on...

The machines are ok, some of them are very hard to read on how many coins to put in. Also years ago most of the washing machines where working well, now most of them are broken and haven't been fixed. The people who work there are friendly and keep the place nice and clean. All in all, if y'all looking for a better place to wash your clothes you can. This place is OK, however I'd give it a 2 star because they haven't fixed the machines. My girlfriend went to wash our pillows and the lady on shift was really rude, spoke to my girlfriend only in Spanish when she said she didn't understand. She was snobby about the whole situation, so after she asked if the big machines were washers and she said yes to her it made us lose out on money that she refused to give back.
