Gorditas El Atoron — Restaurant in Anthony

Didn't wear gloves when making Gorditas and didn't wash hands after handling the money, no hair net but that's extra protein and flavor . 3 stars is being nice. Yes prices went up and they do double tax every item and the total at the end.

I never like to talk S* about local and enjoy small places to eat and wanted to try this place. You know they have the best food, right?

I must concur. I mean this isn't some gourmet place nor is it trying to be. Just good home cooking style small family restaurant that makes some bussin' gorditas.

💥ATTENTION💥 Yes the Gorditas are good but they are stealing from the public.They charge you TAX twice.You don't notice because they put the tax individually to each item ,for example if the gordita costs $3 like it says in your receipt it will show $3.24 plus the additional TAX on the entire order. PLEASE BE AWARE this is not fair. They are robbing us ,I will be filing a complain to the IRS,this is outrageous. If i could put a picture of the receipt to show yall i would ,but next time you go CHECK the prices on...

Love this place! I don't speak Spanish but you can just point to what you want on the menu. Very friendly, and they worked with me on the language! Great freaking food. Their sauces are a bit tamer than other places....I appreciated that. Truly love...
