This place is great! We always visit here anytime we are in the Phoenix area! My Father, who lived in Mesa for many years until his passing in 2007 was a frequent shopper at this antique mall. He bought a lot of high end Native American made silver & turquoise jewelry here (among other items). That's how we were first introduced to this store through my Dad who when we visited him would bring us here to browse & shop. Since then, we have continued to visit and shop for many items including purchasing an entire set of vintage 1970's Ezra Brooks 'Kachina Collection' whiskey decanters (that I shipped home) to several exquisite Native American turquoise jewelry pieces for both my wife and I. Owners Eric and Tracy are wonderful to work with, always remember us when we stop in & they make shopping here a GREAT experience. We shop at A LOT of Antique Malls around the country but I must say that Patterns of the Past is one of our all time favorites! You won't be disappointed so, be sure to make it a stop anytime you're in the Phoenix/Mesa/Gilbert/Chandler areas!
Here is my most recent purchase that I got today at the store. This huge, heavy vintage, Native American Turquoise & Silver bracelet. It's an absolute stunner!
Thanks Eric & Tracy!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been to this shop twice, that was more then enough for me. I have found the owner to be rude and disrespectful. Upon looking further into to this shop, the owner has the back escape/exit door blocked with some very high bookcases. Just above the door is an exit sign, that too has an issue. It has been covered up by brown paper, possibly an old paper bag, stating "We buy gold". One can't help but wonder how much he plans to rip someone off, that seems to be a common theme there, with his over priced items and now unsafe store. I used the word"Unsafe" because that is exactly what it is. Blocking the rear exit door is unsafe, as well as covering the exit sign. Seems the owner thinks he can do what he wants, no, that is not the case. Do yourself a favor, and avoid this unsafe store like the plaque. There are many nice antique shops in the valley, that have nice pleasant people working for them, and the environment is safe. I have my suspicions that the owner really seems to have little regard for safety at any costs, the blocked door is such an example, I can't help but wonder what other unsafe ideas he has instituted and by what means...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBest Antique Mall I almost didnāt want to tell anyone! Also, they sell the freshest Orange Crush Soda in all the West!
Collectors: This is the place for you! Please leave some for the rest of us too though! š«£
*FYI folks: Antique Malls generally require customers to walk up to the front desk to request access to cases and many do not have restrooms at all. This place has clean restrooms, theyāre open 7 days a week currently, and their employees are always upbeat too! Even if you donāt find that āspecial somethingā, please consider buying a soda to show your appreciation and to help keep the lights on!
Today, I was shopping around when I overheard the owners handling a customerās concern and they didnāt hesitate to set things right with her. Absolutely stellar customer service and the best selection in town too. ^ Thatās how you run a business folks!
Lastly: Kudos to the owners for going on 29 years in business! š„³
Wish I had found this...
