I had come into vaulted a couple weeks ago with my little brother and my girlfriend, and we were very disappointed by how dirty and unorganized the store seemed to be, with boxes of cards just thrown around and crumpled on the floor behind the counter. Then yesterday, we were finally able to catch a restock. In the middle of picking out what we wanted, this scalper comes up and starts taking everything off the shelves at Walmart while on the phone with the owner of Vaulted. We confronted him and discovered he was being paid off by Vaulted to scalp product to sell in his shop. You can see in the pictures attached that all the product in his cart is on the shelves in his card shop now. He also changed a review responding to someone else who saw what happened, deleted the part about not partaking in scalping. His bright red Corvette parked right outside the store really portrays how effective and far the strategy of scalping and taking advantage of people can get you. Extremely disappointed and will never consider coming back, there are lots of other shops in the Triangle area that are far nicer, cleaner, and have better...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE I went to this place and got taken advantage of by the owner. I posted a review on here and a day after I got texts of some lawyer trying to contact my parents. After reading it it was obviously the owner pretending to be a lawyer to try and scare me? Which I got taken advantage of here and was trying to explain a full truthful review and having it get taken down was just disrespectful. They have no respect for the pokemon community and only care about their image and the money that their card shop business gets them. Go to this card shop if you know what your cards are worth because if you don't it'll be the blonde dudes payday. If you'd like to check the yelp you can find another review I posted with photo evidence that the owner himself tried to text me and threaten me by pretending to...
Read moreWhat an incredible store! I like to hunt for, buy, then grade specific pokemon cards. I walked into the store in search of a Crystal Guardians reverse holo Charizard that I saw was posted on the store's Instagram page. Unfortunately it was sold the day before. The owner said, "I got you though". He pulled out a large hard case and put down on the counter an even better example of the card than what was posted. He said, "This one is from my personal collection and I'll sell it to you. I honestly think it will grade a 9". Grading is always a small game of chance, but I went with the sale. The price was very fair so of course I couldn't pass it up. A few weeks later it finally showed up from PSA....AS A 9!!!! Can't wait to go back to see what I...
