Lake Avenue Park — Attraction in Apopka

I have been driving around and experiencing local parks with my 4 year old. This is one of my favorites!! Pros: very fun and clean playground equipment. I am 26 and I can enjoy some of the playground equipment myself. The park is quiet and my son is shy so he can be himself when he is here. Lots of seating areas, and my favorite are the wooden benches that are shaded. Lots of open area so that we could fly his kite. Lots of trash cans so it was quite clean! There is a “Little free library” so we enjoyed reading some books.

Cons: the actual playground equipment area should be shaded! No bathrooms Lots of ants in the grass so I was worried for my son to stay around out there. A swing set...

Nice small park. Has no bathroom, grills and not much sitting area. Also not much shaded area. Only good for the kids to play...
