We had the best day. The water is so clear. The best part of the day, however, was nature. We saw deer, a softshell turtle, raccoons, armadillos, squirrels playing, and an otter. Along with many other birds, etc. The walk back to the top of the tubing is a covered canopy that gives you plenty of opportunity to see different types of animals. There are plenty of picnic areas, a playground, swings, and 2 sand volleyball courts. There is a grill to get your lunch (which is reasonably priced), or you can opt to grill on one of the many charcoal grills.
You enter the water area in the middle of the tubing. At the top of the tubing, it is rougher with lots of rocks to contend with. If you go from the middle area to the end, it is smooth and easy. So just be aware that the top of the springs are not quiet as friendly as the middle and end.
Please note that the park fills up fast, so if you want to get in, arrive early! Weekends people start arriving at 6 00am in order to secure a spot.
Parking is $3.00 for 2 people and $5.00 for 3 to 5 people. It goes up with the number of riders in the car.
You can stop and rent tubes right before the entrance of the park. They are $9.00 each for the day. You may also bring your own. Nothing over 5 feet, however.
This was one of the funniest days. I highly recommend it. It is safe with several lifeguards posted throughout your journey down...
Read moreMy family & I came here today for the first time and was completely amazed at how beautifully amazing it was. The water was cold, but can get use to quickly, especially in the hot Florida sun. You most definitely want to get their early, as they fill up quickly & will close the gates. It's extremely important to bring your own pump with you. A lot of people did not, though I was nice enough to let them use mine. Not everyone is so friendly. Walmart has them for around $13. The grounds are very clean, as is the restrooms and a police presence, so it makes you feel safe and know your property is okay while your having fun. Please note, it's best to bring a cooler for snacks and drinks & bug spray. Definitely. It's also best to bring water shoes, as a lot of surfaces are slick and it makes treading through the water easier. Also, having to walk from the exit points. My family found around the cave areas to be most beautiful and bow our favorite place. We will definitely be back and recommend anyone coming. Very cheap to get through the gate, family of 4 only cost us...

There is a big playground, bbq grills, and stairs down into the spring. Perfect full day trip with snorkeling, tubing, and picnicking. Walk upstream to get in with the tubes, then float down past the main swimming area to the end of the lazy river area. Watch for orange trees as you walk back upriver.
Don’t go on Saturday! It fills up by 8am, and the park closes, allowing no one else the...
