MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS A BIG ONE

THE AKCHIN UP. 2. 30 RESORT

THE ROOM COMPS POLICY ABOUT NOT ACCEPTING A PRE-PAID CC'S FOR A DEPOSIT ($50/NIGHT) FOR INCIDENTALS. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT YOU CAN PAY FOR THE ROOM IF YOU BOOK ON LINE WITH ANY PRE-PAID CC YOU WANT, INCLUDED GOVT EBT ATM BOFA DIRECT DEPOSIT ACCTS.

And that it could take up to 30 bus days to re-imberse the deposit for incidentals on the "FREE ROOM COMPS" . ( I actually had the cash available w/in 5 days after my stay.. stayed on Thurs, cash was back by Tuesday... )

The policy is not etched in stone. THE MOD ALLOWED ME TO USE MY GREEN DOT but not w/o putting up a good fight, a firm face forward, and tried to get me to put $250.00 per night CASH DEPOSIT IN ADDITION TO COST OF ROOM( DISCOUNT RATE OF COURSE OF $89 BUX PER NIGHT.. )I HAD BOOKED 3 FREE NIGHTS THAT WOULD HAVE COST ME CLOSE A $1000 FOR UP TO $30 BUS DAYS... LOL. She approved the use as i refused and was about to walk away from THAT tempting BONE ON A STRING deal. $150 was required..for 3 nights. Which turns out to be $150 per night deposit for two free stays and 1 prepaid night. Not $50 a night. I felt a bad vibe as handed over my card w $800 pre loaded on it..(which BTW i had no problem using for any other transaction at the casino or hotel)and braced myself for the worst..but that's as bad as it got.

Oh yea and that $20 freeplay per room per night... NOT.. LOL ON THAT NIGHT.. she said, i believe, it would "just show up" on my players club card could be somewhere Up to 30 bus. DAYS

Idk if that will ever post for sure cus i forgot all about it till now. FML UP TO 30 BUS. DAYS. NEED TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE RESORT TO.. AK CHIN UP 2 30..

Dude !!! The rooms 5*!!!. Really nice view, amenities clean, cleaning staff, front desk attentive and available. They never let the phone ring twice.. Brand new, clean and contemporary. The pool n spa area..beautiful nice fun friendly bar staff..really nice. Not at all an average hotel room. I felt really special in such a nice room. I booked another night.. at an awesome discount rate if $89 paid w my green dot on line. no trip ups whatsoever.. oh and late check...

Harrah's AK-Chin Resort and casino is a great close by getaway. Whether for a few hours or a couple of days. I love playing slots here, they have a great variety, you can usually play for a decent amount of time on an affordable amount of money ($100 give or take a few twenties 😉), there are also table games (I don't play, so I know nothing about them) and bingo. The Bingo hall is nice and seats a large amount of players. They do have vending machines but they are a bit pricey. They offer Matinee, Mid-day, Evening and Weekend games. There are also Video poker machines and sports betting, two more things I know nothing about 🤷🏼‍♀️🙆🏼‍♀️. There are a variety of restaurants. The Copper Cactus Grill and Agave's are the only two I've tried. Food is good and affordably priced. There is also Oak & Fork and Chop, Block & Brew but I have not tried these restaurants. The Dunkin Donuts is my go to for coffee and there is also a small pop-up convenience market near the hotel check-in desk for forgotten items or snacks for the kids, but you definitely pay for the convenience. Also be aware that if you are looking for a late night dinner or after hours munchies be sure and check when they open & close. NONE of these places are 24 hours and some close earlier on weeknights. The hotel rooms are very nice and during my visits have always been very clean and well stocked. The pool at Harrah's AK-Chin is very nice and inviting, especially during the summer months. They offer cabanas, daybeds and a swim up bar. Overall Harrah's AK-Chin is a great escape, especially for Arizona locals. Be sure and sign up for a player's club card as soon as you arrive and use it while playing any games because Harrah's offers great rewards. Including complimentary drinks, food, event tickets and comped stays. If you have a chance, be sure and check Harrah's...

Harrah's Ak-Chin Hotel and Casino would get negative stars if I could, but I will explain the situation. On 04/21/24 around 0100 hours, I was approached by security while watching my friend play blackjack. They explained to me that I was extremely intoxicated and that they needed me to leave. I never once talked, I was polite to everyone and only had a maximum of 5 drinks in 7 hours of being there. I was not extremely intoxicated, but I decided to be respectful and go to the room with our friends. Also, I had to give them the drink that I paid for. We were followed to the room because they wanted to harrass me and my family. Doesn't security have better things to do? Like maybe watching how to be more like Paul Blart? Well, I got to the room and decided to leave this "fine" establishment. I left the premises to go to my vehicle. My wife did not drink that night and could drive home. On our way out, we were chased down by a child and fat security guard.  They pushed their way past my wife and friend to speak to me. I told them, "I'm leaving right now. So please leave me alone. " They told me to stop being "mad." Of course I'm upset.. I told them to, "Leave me alone." Again. They asked me who was driving and I told them "My Wife". It's literally none of their business, but whatever. We were followed to our car into the parking garage. On our way home, it seemed like we had a vehicle following us, and it turned around when we were backing into our driveway. Needless to say.. you apparently are not allowed to drink, and they will stalk you. I'm never going back and wasting my money at Harrah's Ak-Chin Hotel and Casino again. And for anyone reading this please be aware there are alot of complaints like mine. To the casino that will reply to this.. I'm not interested in your generic responses...
