The food is typically really delicious and it frustrates me to have to write this review, but my review is based soley on management.
My husband and I placed a togo order Friday evening. After my husband returned home with our food, I opened my container to find CLUMPS of black hair all over my sandwich. We called back immediately and asked what our options would be moving forward, a refund or a new order. I explained that I would be more than happy to bring the order back to show the manger. The kind woman I spoke with was completely apologetic and spoke with her manager regarding my concern. Shortly after, she popped back on the phone to state they would issue a refund for my order. Since we had paid cash, we would need to pick up our refund. We asked if it were necessary to come down that evening, given how late it was or if we could stop by over the weekend. The woman stated that she would take down our name and we could pick it up over the weekend.
Come Sunday morning, my husband had some spare time between errands to pick up our refund. He heads over and after 45 minutes of back and forth with the morning manager, they REFUSED to give us a refund as the manager stated it was 'company policy for customers who pay cash.' Thats fine if its company policy, but its NOT fine to agree to refund us and then blatantly refuse when we have to go out of our way. Why was this information not shared on Friday if it's truly policy? The morning manager also stated that there was no documentation of the incident and proceed to basically accuse us of lying.
We have always held 347 grill in high regard and after this incident, we will sadly not be returning. We aren't upset over the $13 my sandwich cost, but the way this manager in particular treated us and handled this situation.
Truly disappointed in this establishment. I hope they are able to incorporate new guidelines and policies to treat their customers better, and have employees that stick to their word and...
Read moreSo I live down the street from this place, we eat there 1-2 times a month typically. Sometimes more. Like I've eaten there twice in the past week. So why do I give it 2 stars and continue to go? It's simple customer service. The food is good . I really like the chorizo burger. They have a great selection of tap beer. Almost every very single time we have gone and sat a table it's been bad. Something is always messed up. There is one server, and she's great, I wish I knew her name. Otherwise table service we have to expect something to be wrong. Service at the bar has NEVER been wrong. It's always right and great. Last night was no exception for bad service, it was probably the worst. It started of with I ordered a water and a beer, the two girls ordered waters. I didn't get a water, I got a tall beer. I reminded her and she finally brought it. We placed our orders, nothing crazy, straight from the menu. She writes it down. Our food comes out my wife gets something she didn't order, a Turkey burger I think. We tell the server, she goes to correct it. 15 minutes later her new order and its yet a different chicken sandwich, not the buffalo chicken burger. So the server takes it back. 15 minutes later she gets the buffalo burger. The manager tells us all 3 are on the bill but 2 are credited. Now 2 of us had eaten by the time burger 2 came out. Burger 3 my wife is eating as we stare at her. Bill comes and we ask if they can comp the meal. I mean they took 3 tries and 45 minutes or so. This is the first time in about 20 times we had asked them to comp a mistake. The manager opened it for debate. Insinuating my wife was just sending food back, which she was CAUSE IT WASNT WHAT SHE ORDERED! He took $4.55 off the bill. I still have the server a 10.00 tip she was knew, didn't complain, had a smile. I think she just messed up. But like I said we very rarely get things correct when sitting at a table.
We will go back, but only to sit at the...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to take a little staycation this month and we stayed at the Harrah’s in Maricopa. Next door to Harrah’s is an UltrastarEntertainmentCenter with bowling, Laser tag, movies, and restaurants. Our past experiences in eating out in Maricopa have not been that great, and we were a little hesitant to try there, but we thought, “What the heck”.
We discovered there was a “Monday Funday” special at the 347Grill for $9.95 for a flat iron steak, veggies and a potato, so we thought we would give it a try. We met the Food and Beverage Manager Mike, and he was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very nice. The water feature they have is fascinating.
Our servers’ name was James and he was awesome. He was very attentive and was always there before the drinks were empty to get them refilled. The food (I wish I would have taken a picture of the plate) was plated beautifully. The presentation of it was just like you would see on the Food Network. The flavors of each item went extremely well together and tasted excellent.
So, the next night we decided to return for prime rib dinners. Again, we had James for our server (we kind of requested him J ). Mike was there as well, and was so friendly and helpful. James fully explained how prime rib was cooked so we would get the prime rib to our liking perfectly.
We also indulged in dessert. My husband had New York Cheesecake, and I had their rocky road ice cream with cashews. They make all their ice cream daily themselves and it was so good. One scoop was all I needed.
Thanks to James, Mike and their chef, we were able to have a wonderful experience for dinner while we were on our staycation. I would highly recommend them for a dinner away from home. You will not be...
