It's not a huge area but this park caught my attention when I saw nearly 2/3 of the place is woods. I've become so accustomed to parks being open spaces with a a few trees (if any). Especially, not enough to block view of the house on the other side. So as you can guess, to be able to get to be surrounded by tall trees shading the sun a bit was a treat. In the woods there is a pavilion and a separate a fire pit area - the trail to those places is paved making it available for someone in a wheelchair to enjoy as well. In the grassy part there's an open space for sports, basketball hoops and a (currently being renovated) playground. This is a great place to just enjoy being outside with out the noisy distractions that a town or city offer.

Nice clean park. Great friendly playground for the kids. Great environment. The park has picnic tables, shade, swings for little ones, a basketball court, sandboxes, small and large playground and trails to explore. Not far from hospital so you will hear sirens constantly and busy road so it is loud near the playground. If you walk in the trails it’s nice and quiet. Overall great place to take little ones. My son enjoyed this park. It does have public restrooms near playground. I also liked that it is fenced in.

This place is next to a very busy street, however there's free parking readily available off the street. There is a decent flat, grassy field, a nice jungle gym for kids, 2 pavilion areas (that are reservable), a basketball court, and bathrooms. There is a good amount of cool, shady, woods to walk through with little dirt paths, however this would not be a good place to run.

If you're into exploring the great outdoors, then Lacey Woods Park is a great place to experience the full essence of nature. With a plethora of possibilities ranging from sporting events to playgrounds and nature trails, everyone is certain to have an amazing time. I was referred to make a visit to the well-known park to help find a secluded area where I could focus on my art. Safe to say, I found what I was looking for and then some once I made it to the nature trail. Featured with a beautiful landscape and overflowing with positive energy, I was able to unwind and let my creativity flow as I enjoyed the sights and sounds of nature. Terrific place that I would strongly reccomend people from all over to visit. I will definitely be returning there...

This park is one of my favorites in arlington! I used to come here when I was little, so it’s been around for awhile. I also came here with the kids that I used to nanny, and now I go with my own daughter! It has equipment suitable for most ages, and it even has a sandbox. There is also a picnic pavilion that provides shade. They also have a pretty large field, as well as a trail that leads to even larger pavilions. I have also noticed that there are some classes that kids take here, usually art classes at the...
