10-17-23 just had to file a debit card dispute on them as they charged me twice! I added a $5 tip, but instead of adjusting the original amount they charged me a second time with the tip added to the 1st amount! Not happy!

*cliff notes * waitress never cared for me being there, and never actually asked how my food was.

I was very disappointed with the service I received. I pickup and deliver luxury coaches for a company, and due to that I sometimes have downtime after a delivery and have to take Uber or Lyft to places. Two Chefs pizza opens up at 11am, and my lyft got me there at 10:55am, so the door was locked... no big deal, I waited patiently till the door was unlocked. I hadn't checked into my hotel yet, so I had a small carry-on luggage on wheels with me

I wasn't greeted at the door... could have been appreciated that they had a customer right at open, but nope, the door was unlocked and they disappeared back into the restaurant.

I walked through the outside door into a entry way and through a 2nd door into the restaurant.... as I was walking through I was being stared down by the waitress and I was the 1st person to say hello, not the waitress.... her first comment to me was "are you eating here?".... as a customer I would have liked to have heard, "welcome to Two Chefs Pizza! Will it be dine in or carry out?".

I replied "I'll be eating here". She just continued to stare at me, and after I stood there for at least 30 seconds, she eventually said "sit wherever you like".

I found a booth and sat down.... the menu was already on the table, so I started to read the menu.... after a few minutes I already knew what I wanted and she finally came to my table and took my drink order, didn't bother if I was ready to order.... she tried to walk away (I had been sat in the booth for at least 5 mins already) and I stopped her and said I'm ready to order.... she turned around and took my order.

I ordered a appetizer and a pizza. She put the order in and brought me my drink.

My appetizer (which was breaded zucchini sticks) was brought to me in a timely fashion, and they were great. By the time I was half way threw I was out of drink. I slowed up and finished off the appetizer still without my drink. Also by this point a 2nd customer had sat down close to me and she took his order and finally saw I was out of my drink and filled it up.

She brought a pitcher of my drink to fill up my glass and added more ice than drink into it.

She took my empty appetizer plate and brought my pizza out when it was ready.

I ate it, it was really good.... while I was eating she checked in with the other customer and asked how his food was like 2 or 3 times, but for some reason didn't want to ask me how any of my food was.

I emptied my 2nd glass quicker than the 1st since she added more ice and I wasn't done with my pizza. An 8 top table came in, she took their order and walked by my empty glass twice, maybe just maybe she'll fill it up again soon.... well she got the drinks for the 8 top and filled up the other customers drink... got his check and I'm still here with a empty glass.

I was done with my pizza and she brought out a pitcher again of my drink and actually only put liquid in it, as it was all the way full with ice.

I asked where is the bathroom... she replied its in the back and to the left. Well which back? I pointed to the spot and she said yes and to the left. I finished my drink and went to the bathroom.

I came back from the bathroom and she brought my check, and took the empty plates, and ice glass away before I even sat down.

I just gathered all my things, ordered a uber, and took the check to the cash register and stood there and waited... she came to me and said "ready to pay?" I replied yes, paid and left as I had a Uber coming already.

NOT ONE TIME DID SHE ASKED ME HOW MY MEAL WAS, HOW I WAS, OR EVEN SAID HELLO OR GOODBYE!

I feel like I was profiled cause I had a rolling carry-on luggage like I was homeless!

My bill was $35! ...

Anyone who reads my reviews knows I tell it the way it is: I call it down the middle exactly the way I have experienced it.

So here's the thing about this place: I have a love/hate relationship with the place. Love in a sense that I support local businesses and the food is very good here. Especially in which this is family owned and these people work hard. I appreciate that. The older gentlemen makes fantastic pizza. Best in the DMV that doesn't make me miss Staten Island, NY so much. Hate in a sense that everytime I walk in here, something disturbs me about my experience. For example, I decided a week ago to walk in here and sit down. The server looked unhappy, no personality, and just give me the order and disappears. I asked for the inside of the bread to be taken out and that was an obstacle and a half to get that done. She seemed really annoyed. Everytime, I walk in there or my roommate walks in there, we both agree that they don't recognize us or know who we are and the irony of it is, we go to eat here practically every week. Well, if this is your go to place, then don't let me disturb your serenity. For myself, I am up in the air about coming here after my last...

This place is an absolute joke. It’s called Two Chefs Pizza, but let’s be real—they either don’t have two chefs or need about five more, because nothing gets done in a timely manner. We walked into an almost empty restaurant, just the three of us and two other people dining, and it still took them over 20 minutes to bring out eight cheese sticks. And the only reason we even got those is because I had to get up and ask about them. After that, we sat and waited… and waited. Another 10+ minutes went by, and still nothing. I had enough. I got up to pay for the cheese sticks and leave, because at that point, I had been sitting there for over 30 minutes, and guess what? While I’m at the counter, they just started to cook the rest of our order—a burger with fries, a salad, and a gyro. Are you serious? How long does that even take to make? Meanwhile, the place smelled weird, the tables were dirty, and it was obvious they cared way more about their to-go orders than anyone actually dining in. Total trash experience. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Avoid this place...

I swear I don’t know why these folks don’t have more reviews because the quality and taste of their New York style pizza is beyond comprehension. If they aren’t the best New York style pizza in Arlington, I would go as far as saying the best in the entire DC greater area. I’ve been going here my whole life and I’m 25 and my own father who’s 56 has been coming here since he was a teenager in high school and I tell you I picked up a pizza from them at an extremely reasonable price and the Mom and Dad and their older son are still hard at work almost 40 years later still pushing out amazing pies I mean I’m at a loss for words and as many others have said before the sauce that they use in their pies is to die for there’s no other place I would recommend if you want a great New York slice. I hope they’re around for generations to come!

I started frequenting this place in the late 90s. The food was incredible. Every dish I had back then was amazing. I had my first Chicken Marsala at this place. It blew my taste buds away. I dont live in VA anymore but I have reconnected with this place. The Monster Sub was amazing. However, they sold my chicken Marsala before I arrived and I had to wait while they got another portion together. I was happy as that meant my food would be fresh. Aside from a minor miscommunication in the beginning, this restaurant has delivered the amazing standard I remember from years ago. UPDATE: Oh my! My faith has been rewarded. Thank you for making such a wonderful meal two days in a row! See you next time. Look at the yummy food!

Poor service and very bland food. This past Friday Eve (5pm) we ordered chicken fingers, pizza, chicken parmesan, single slice of pizza and slice of Boston Cream pie. Chicken fingers were on the level of fast food chicken nuggets, with mashed up chicken byproducts. Pizzas were so bland, with no seasoning in crust, sauce or cheese. Out of pie. The chicken parmesan had very little sauce on both the chicken and noodles, and it was also flavorless. Upon arrival there were only 4 people working, two of which were in kitchen. The lady who greeted me was very abrupt to the point of being rude. The younger male worker didn't acknowledge me at all. I don't understand the reviews. We will not be back.
