Arrow Rock State Historic Site Visitor Center — Attraction in Arrow Rock

Just spent the weekend exploring the village of Arrow Rock, walking/hiking area trails, visiting the Lyceum Theatre for a show, and immersing myself in the history of the area. WOW! I had no idea how important the area is not only to the history of Missouri but to the U.S. as well. This is such a fun historic site to visit. The visitors center and some of the surrounding area is maintained by the state, while some of the town buildings are owned by the Friends of Arrow Rock, and the rest are privately owned. Walking through the little town and looking at the historic homes is a treat, especially when all the flowers are in bloom.
