We wanted to get away from stress and unwind in a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, and that is just what we found. Borgman's is comfortable, cozy, and the antiques, quilts, and pictures are interesting. We were happy to be away from TV, traffic, noise, etc... but glad there was internet to check in on things. Breakfast was fruit and cinnamon rolls- very tasty! Like a stay at your favorite Grandma's- if Grandma was active, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Kathy is a terrific resource about Arrow Rock and the surrounding attractions. Arrow Rock itself is beautiful, historic, and in the midst of state parks. Borgman's is within walking distance to several historic sites, a tavern (great chicken), state park visitor's center, and several scenic walking trails.
