Indie Salon — Attraction in Arroyo Grande

After not having been to an actual salon in almost ten years, being a little leary was the least of my fears. Yet once I met my stylist, Miss Jillian (same name as my daughter, WHAT are the odds there???!!!.....was clearly an omen right!) she instantly alleviated any and all fears, questions and all around what the heck am I doing here thoughts and feelings. She listened intently, educated honestly and we laughed like we'd been old friends who hadn't caught up in years. Indie I commend you, you've got a real gem there in Jillian. I already have a second appt with many more to come. I can't say enough good about this lady and her magic. Highly recommended!...

I'm very happy with how Amy Berby cut my hair! I would see her again and recommend her to others.

My hair is flat at the crown and a mix of 2a-2c waves with medium thickness. I am low maintenance and needed something on the shorter side that would still look good air-dried.

She took me from long, unkempt-no-matter-how-much-I-tried hair to a fresh, collarbone length layered cut. The layers look great on day one when my hair has 2c waves and bounce, as well as day two when it wilts to 2a. It air dries beautifully and also fully pulls up into a ponytail like I requested....

The woman who did my hair was very kind and easy to talk to. Unfortunately towards the end of my appointment she started rushing to get it done even tho I was her last client. After going home and washing my hair it turned yellow! It now has stripes. And also wasnt cut how I asked. No layers added. Just cut to length. I called the salon twice asking to get it fixed and was told I'd get a call back to be scheduled. I also messaged then via email twice with still no response after over a week trying to get it fixed. I am very disappointed in this salon that I had...
